A Stray Dog Who Kept Trying To Steal A Purple Unicorn From A Store Gets A Toy And A Forever Home
Dogs are man’s best friends, but who are dogs’ best friends? Apparently, purple unicorns are stuffed. A story of a stray 1-year-old pit bull called Sisu recently went viral. Sisu attempted to steal a plush unicorn from this Dollar General many times. The shopkeepers kept sending him out, but Sisu persisted and always returned, running right to the plush toy section and grabbing the same unicorn every time.
When animal control arrived to take Sisu away, an officer named Samantha Lane purchased the plush purple unicorn for the pupper. Sisu then willingly accompanied the police.
The dog is unable to be parted from his toy and spends every waking moment with it. The shelter workers believe it’s because Sisu had a similar toy or his owners had one precisely like it. Sisu and his favorite toy were adopted and given their permanent home after Sisu’s post went viral!
“This is what happens when you routinely break into the Dollar General to steal the purple unicorn that you laid claim to, but then get animal control called to put you up for your B & E and larceny, but the officer purchases your item for you and takes it in with you,” they said in the post.
