He was dumped in the forest with huge tumor, alone in cold and sadness waiting for his end in agony

This dog was shared on the internet by several rescue organizations. The female who saw him just took a picture of him and shared it on Facebook.

The dog’s breed is an amstaff. He is unable to move and can only stand. We have no idea what happened to him. Perhaps he was shot earlier because he was in a community in the woods.

He’s such a sweetheart, his tail never stops wagging. His ears were cropped, which suggests he had an owner who cropped them and just put him out like this.

His name was Alphonzo. We can tell from the x-rays that it is a tumor. His leg is horribly disfigured, it stinks, and he is in a lot of agony.

More testing and blood work will be done at the vet, as well as a chest x-ray and a CT scan to see whether there are any mets. He will very certainly have to have his leg amputated.

He is always wagging his tail and kissing people. He has a healthy appetite, which is a positive indicator.

He took a chest x-ray and discovered that there are no mets! He’s hooked up to an IV and will have his leg amputated. The blood work reveals that he is anemic, but the leg needs to be amputated right away, and we can’t wait another day.

His front leg was amputated after a grueling long-hour surgery, and a 6-kilo tumor was removed, and he survived.

Alphonzo left the clinic, four days later, and he is doing great. He is a warrior, and he will do just well! He’s anemic, but we’ll correct that with vitamins and good nutrition. He is in Merima’s private foster care, and she is also a vet nurse.

He survived a rigorous surgery and will live a regular, happy life! Hoping that one day he’ll find a home with someone who loves him as much as they love themselves.

After a month, Alphonzo is doing great, his wound is healing well, and there are no problems. He is a sweetheart, likes people, children, and dogs, and has no aversion to cats!

He’s around a year old, and once the free spaying and neutering program resumes,

I hope someone falls in love with this child and finds him a home. He is quite appreciative for your assistance, as well as Meri and Franjo, who are taking excellent care of him!
