A shelter discovered an ill stray dog suffering from severe mange. The dog had lovely blue eyes, but life on the streets had left him filthy and despondent.
The shelter posted his photo on Facebook in the hopes that someone would take a chance on this unfortunate dog.

As people shared the images of the unfortunate dog, the shelter received a call from a woman who claimed the dog resembled her dog, who was kidnapped from her backyard two years ago.
The shelter invited her to come visit the dog and check if the dog knew her.
The woman in this video reaches out to the depressed and lonely dog. The dog appears afraid at first, but he remembers his mom’s scent and lovely face.

He reaches his paws towards her and rises to get a better look at her face.
The dog immediately recognizes her and begins licking and kissing her all over! The mom, too, bursts into tears and holds her bereaved child (his name is Lord!).
We were all in tears after this incredibly emotional reunion. We are grateful to the shelter and everyone who shared Lord’s photo and assisted him in finding his way back to his mom!
